Service Description

A great number of people are willing to talk about their mental health but simply don't have the language at their disposal to describe what they are experiencing. This custom built workshop is aimed at cohorts who may benefit from learning the specific words and phrases that allow us to describe our thoughts, feelings and emotions. Knowing the language of mental health allows us to express ourselves more clearly and possibly access the most appropriate forms of support. Over the course of the 2.5hours we will use large and small group work, facilitated discussions and interactive activities to introduce learners to the 25 most useful words and phrases that describe mental health. This is a free course available only to charities and support services kindly sponsored by the MENtal Health Takeaways Podcast.
