About the Adult MHFA England Course

The Youth Mental Health First Aid course has been updated for 2025 with the latest research and insights. It’s been completely redeveloped through an inclusive lens, with valuable input from young people who’ve shared their lived experiences.
This course is perfect if you live with, work with, or support young people aged 8 to 18 and want to build your knowledge, awareness, and skills to spot the signs of poor mental health. You’ll gain the confidence to start those important conversations and the tools to help safeguard and guide young people to the right support.
When you train as a Youth Mental Health First Aider, you’ll get certified for three years and have access to ongoing benefits through the Association of Mental Health First Aiders®.
